...it makes life so much easier all round.
Thank you for your interest in my writing; I should like to welcome you warmly to my site. It is traditional to say a little about oneself in such circumstances, and so I shall do so. I am British, and of what used to be rather quaintly referred to in the Book of Common Prayer as "riper years"; for most of these years I have been writing in one way or another. I live in the north of England with, at the time of writing, one elderly cat, but it is safe to assume that even if the website is out of date there is at least one cat in my house.
In addition to writing, my interests include mathematics, most of the sciences, history (with especial reference to that of Russia), baroque and early music, and an eclectic variety of handicrafts. I am also an enthusiastic and somewhat obsessive cosplayer when I get the chance.
I can neither confirm nor deny the rumours that I am a time traveller from the late nineteenth century. I will, however, confess to a fondness for detachable collars, toasted muffins, and the occasional glass of port.
